Stunning session from way back in the day from the much missed and also much maligned (at least by the local residents) Willow. Fantastic sounding boot too considering the vintage and that’s thanks to the good people at WERS Radio. I love this and I hope you enjoy it too…Joe Lovano before the world knew him is particularily fine!

Lyle recordings are rare and precious.
As a pianist, Lyle Mays is my first influence (if I can say that without being really presumptuous…) and his music often makes me cry.
