Herbie Hancock’s Headhunters : Munich, Germany July 1999
Herbie Hancock : Keyboards
Bill Evans : Tenor and soprano saxophones
Daryll Jones : Electric bass
Wah Wah Watson : Electric guitar
Ndugu Chancler : Drums
MIno Cinelu : Percussion
Fantastic group this and as Herbie says in the band intros, Bill Evans always seems to have the perfect sound for whatever’s happening around him. This is very groovy and extremely well recorded so you should definately grab it!

Hello,
We are trying to set up a jazz “flac only” blog : “Sing My Body Electric” / http://smbe.blogspot.com/
We have put you in our blogroll. Maybe, you could include us in your blogroll. That would be great.
You could also check our website : “radio.jazz.club” / http://www.radiojazzclub.com/
Many thanks in advance.

Incredible show. If you weren’t in another country I’d give you a hug! Thanks for sharing this. I love how the group plays together as a whole, not “Herbie with some guys behind him”.
Great stuff! Thanks again.

Herbie Hancock is my favorite musician. His song is really amazing ^o^

Great files. Pity track 2 runs out part way through but this is made up for by a great version of Maiden Voyage (track 4).
Bill Evans is a great addition to Hancock’s band and provides massive fire.
Enjoy!
Not sure what the problem is with track 2…downloads fine from here and finishes at the end of the tune. Maybe you need to try downloading it again? Glad you enjoyed the session, more Herbie coming soon!
