Steps Ahead : Bottom Line NYC 7.10.1985

Mike Mainieri : Vibraphone

Michael Brecker : Tenor saxophone

Chuck Leob : Electric guitar

Victor Bailey : Electric bass

 Peter Erskine : Drums

Another great show from the guys, Brecker sounding awesome as always. Seem to be having a run of gigs from great NY jazz clubs recently, which is nice.

  4. Hey,

Just wanted to tell you how appreciate I am of all the work you’ve put into this website. The quality of the music is absolutely impeccable, and you’re helping to keep it alive. Thank you so much!

I’ve been checking a couple times of week for if the site would ever come up again. Is there any explanation of why it closed down for a while? Did the feds find the bootlegs?

Either way, I’m just extremely grateful that it’s up again. Thank you!

  5. I am currently addicted to Steps Ahead right now. thanks for this recording.

  6. Thanks for reopening. We miss you, can you tell?
